Hi Guy. Iam 53. Have A1AD been iLL now 12 years. Genetic Empysema I've found that from time to time I get either run down or worn down and get very tired. Since I upped my diet. With only fresh food and plenty of fish fruits and cut down n red meats and sugars that I've improved some what. I also think sleep or being tired is ok it's for us or you to take notice and think Iam I over doing it and what can I do to make my life easier planning. Stop seeing certain folk that put pressure or stress. Being iLL is for some folk to much and there reactions can make How iLLnesses ever harder to live with sometimes it's better to let certain friends family member. Stand down. Well that's been-my case. But I have been extremely iLL Now. And last 9 months awaiting lungs. Transplant and last year. I was given up on and 6 weeks in Hospice but I held out and very slowly recovered. Maybe what I've said wrote will be of some help. Stress. Really as big impact with me and it's bad for healthy people let alone folk who are. Very iLL. So. If you have none your very lucky if you do use you time wizely to avoid so. Diet. Stress and overdoing. It. But also. Doing to little just laying sitting all day. Not good at all. I've been stuck in doors for going on 11 months as I have. 3 flights of stairs. So my mental state just though being like a prisoner as been. Very tough. But. Sometimes. We just have dig very deep and hope life improves. Bless you my friend. Stay positive and we will get there in the end Paul From Hackney.

Hi, Thank you for your reply ,much appreciated, my fibrosis has worsened this year can be seen on Scans and also Breathing tests had 2 this year and show both decreased from previous, but my activity has dramatically dropped through above reasons. Max around 10-15 metres with Oxygen walking and have to stop to regain my breathing properly, I have put on weight with all the above , I do not wash my hair now as I loose my breath, diet is not that good , from next wed I have assigned to me a matron nurse once a month , so I will discuss with her these problems , Thank you again
