I have been feeling somewhat under par over the last few days. I have the awful feeling that I may have tried to walk just a bit too far last Thursday.
Fortunately the nurse came first thing on Tuesday to do my blood test. At least that is out of the way and I should get my Methotrexate injections before too long.
I really hope that I feel up to walking again on Saturday as I badly want to go up to our recreation ground which is the same distance as the village hall. There is a dog show up there. I'm not entering Fidget into anything ( he'd win anyway!!!!! ) but I do want to visit the stalls to pick up treats for him.
I haven't chosen the picture to go with this post yet but I think it will be of one of my dog portraits.....I'll be running out of pictures at this rate!
I have chosen to put up Archie. When the lady came to collect it, it was for her Mum, she cried and said that was the look he had whenever the biscuit tin came out. I never like to make people cry, but it does at least mean that I have captured their dog.

Beautiful Hun... Just reminded me of Something Lovey. My Friend who recently lost her Beloved Dog, Showed me her Silver Love & Memory rings on a Chain in the middle was a Heart with some ashes from her Beloved Dog. I Asked her to order for me as I talk to my 3 legged Baby in his Cremation Box, who passed age 15, a few years ago, Now I can carry him with me everywhere. Do your Best to Go to The Dog Show, How much Better you will Feel. Love n Hugs. xxxxx
Little but often is the watchword for exercise just to make yourself a little breathless. Before long you'll be power walking to the dog shows. udos on the picture, you are very talented.
It’s another amazing creation, you are very talented. I can almost hear Archie’s brain whirring around. Thx for sharing. I can’t have pets as I have a Housing Association flat so I love to share in others joy of theirs.
Instead of a “ step too far “ perhaps you could try “ Baby steps?”
Beautiful dog well done. Good luck with your injections I was on methotrexate for 11 years
Oh fidget, I'm so sorry to hear you've been feeling under par, but hope you've picked up by now? I've only just caught up with this post (you're incredibly talented and I'm sooo jealous! 😉), so I didn't know of your plight?
Belated best wishes and hugs coming your way.... x
Like all of us I have my ups and downs. I think that I get frustrated because I am so limited in what I can do. On Friday I had to take some photos of a dog for a new commission. The lady brought her dog to me fortunately. I'm not overly happy with the pictures but I think they will do.
I have made a big decision. It's going to cost me money, but it will make my life easier. Hopefully all will be revealed in the next week or so.
