My lungs are really hurting today. I do hope it is not the recurrence of the chest infection my consultant thinks I'm going to get! I do have 2 courses of antibiotics that he gave me but I don't want to take them before I go on holiday! Had a busy Friday evening with the twins who didn't really want to sleep and then came and woke us up at 7. We went out for the day to a steam fair and younger daughter came to help which was great. Twins parents didn't get back till early evening due to traffic.
Today it is out for lunch as it is the elder daughter's birthday tomorrow. At least no cooking! It is also a bit cooler which is better.

Hi Judith, hopefully it won't be an infection. Don't know if you're the same, but I find that weather changing can have an effect, responding to the pressure changes. It doesn't matter if it's high to low, or vice versa - it's the change the seems to cause the problem.
Hi Judy, sorry to hear you are not so well. Please do reconsider taking your meds a little earlier though,it could be all the difference,of jumping on it in time.
You sound as if you have had your hands full too, with twins,I also have twin grandsons, whom I used to look after, whilst there Mum worked, they are 12 now,but still a joy, with there jokes etc.
Do enjoy your daughters birthday,& have a great meal! Without the cooking & washing up,even better with the heat you have been having!
Look after yourself,& enjoy the holiday,
Love Wendells xxx
Hi, my lungs hurt threw coughing to much or becouse have not used my inhaler when i should.
If it was infection smallest thing would be tad much to do let alone look after grand kids.
Could be just mucus on the move you need to cough up
Sure its just a speed wobble ... All the best for your holidays

I only have 2 weeks worth of antibiotics and not seeing the consultant again until 31st August. He thinks the reason for my constant chest infections is my immune system,
Hope its just a change in the weather Judith and not a lung infection, stay well and enjoy your day today. Look after those lungs and hoping you will soon find things ok again.
There does seem a change in the weather, strangely I feel better today than for the last 5 days, breathing better and more energy, I think the weather does effect different people differently. I would start the antibiotics, my GP always says better sooner than later, you also sound as if you've been very busy.
If you think you are starting with another infection rather than just general breathlessness, take the antibiotics - the sooner they start the better. I have made that mistake too often and ended up completely pole-axed. Even more reason if you are going on holiday. Take care whatever you decide and hope you feel better soon. xx
