Had my Assessment this Morning, Lovely to see the Girls(Resp. Nurses) again, big Hugs all round. I passed, though a Little more Breathless than last time. I start on 6th May, twice a week as before. Monday & Friday.

Also Do a Table top Sale Tomorrow for BLF & Our Breathe Easy Group.

So you passed your MOT carino and even with dodgy bling you have made the grade,i expect you to strut your stuff with the usual aplomb and of course the most dazzling outfit and lippie to boot.go for it gal you will blow them apart.

Hi HH ,thank you for your concern,the pain,not the cat,is under control with a diet of codeine and paracetamol but if it's muscular it could take a long time to resolve hence the reduction in activity makes me a 'feeble' skier for the time being but life goes on and whingeing will get me no place quick and Scruff's is really still the not so fat cat that got the cream. xx

I fancy a citroen c3 aircross thingy but at the moment i am not doing enough mileage to warrant even getting it on the motability scheme Master Po but hopefully when i regain fitness i shall venture to various dealers to see what delights are on offer, x

Take a good look at the Toyota Aygo when you start looking around, I'm very pleased with mine. I hope you soon get to feel fit enough.

Great ! Won’t be long now then to start getting back on track . Good luck. I’m starting in June to make sure my duty rota allows me the 2 days per week off that I need. Let us know how you get on . I think I did ok at the assessment and scored 500mts ( whatever that means to them)!

I’m quite well at the moment thanks ( can’t believe it’s such a different story when I get an infection!!!

I believe you are also in Notts?

Hi Chris, You did well doing 500mts on your 6 minute walk, I only managed 250 Mtrs. But I am happy I passed, didn't expect to..Now all systems go, and to get back into my Keep Fit routine that I once had. I am in NG8 Chris. Love n Hugs xxxx

Hi there I’m NG19. Just back from QMC treatment centre with my hubby he’s had a spinal injection . I was quite impressed with the place ( but the car parking was expensive) I’m not too bad walking on the flat but with a gradient I’m rubbish. Hope you get on well with pr again. Cx

The only thing I know about NG19 is that the Postcode always comes up on Peoples Postcode Lottery LOL, I know, It's a Big Place. I hope your Hubby is ok now, and not in pain.? We always get a Taxi to QMC because of the difficult parking, I am Normally at City, easy parking but now having to pay parking even with my Blue Badge. I always have my Wheelchair for all the Corridors you have to Travel through the the Bowels of the Hospital for a CT Scan(QMC). Yes, after a lovely Pub lunch had a long Siesta. Well done Hacienda , it’s slwaus good to get through those things and the resp nurses are always lovely. Interestingly we’re doing a stall at a health and well-being fair this weekend too for our Breathe Esasy Group. I’m hoping to get one of the COPD team to come and do some spirometer tests.

I’m getting over an infection st the momment. It’s very frustrating being so debilitated, but I managed to go to fit to Breathe this morning, although I couldn’t do all the exercises, I’m worried about losing my fitness. It’s always such a hard climb back. I think I need to have my oxygen re-assessed.

Hi K, Thanks for your lovely Message. Wish you lots of Luck with your Breathe Easy Weekend. Yes, it is hard to climb back up, But now That is my main aim, The Bonus will be getting The "Bling" restored so I can go for Gold. Ha Ha you know what I mean. I do have another Oxygen assessment on the 1st May, hopefully the Carbon Dioxide has receded.

Good Morning My Dear Buddy Cas, Thank You, yes I will enjoy it, I do now need to try and recapture the Body Strength I had Before this last long exacerbation due to my Bling (Valve) stopping it's function. It was lovely seeing my nurses after a year, it was Hugs for everyone. I look forward to Joining them all on the 6th May. This Morning I join my Colleagues at our Table Top sale (Tombola) for BLF & Breathe Easy Group. Hope you are coping and keeping yourself Busy whilst waiting for your call. Good News for a Pre Transplant Friend, Chantel had her Double Trx 3 weeks ago and Last night she sent a Message to us all saying she is doing very well. So Happy for her and her family. I thought I wouldn't pass it, but I did, Fill in Forms for mental attitude, Obs, Stats. a 6 minute Walk ,I did mine on my Oxygen, Mind you I have had 5 previous assessments with Rehab Classes over the Years(4) always passed, Don't Worry, just do what you can. good Luck Hun. xxxx

Aww thanks for the reply, I will definitely have to do the walk test with oxygen, just worried I wont be able to manage the walk, my oxygen seems to drop some even with oxygen on with excertion xx thanks for being helpful x
