Rehab is normally one hour exercise tailored to your needs,
And one hour education.
There’s a lot to be gained from the experience, any problems doing any routine speak to one of the nurses, they are on hand to assist.
On the education part, ask as many questions as you like, they have good insight into the many problems we all experience, which are not fully explained by the GPs.
Mainly enjoy yourself.
It’s good exercise, full on, you will be monitored, have oxygen if needed. Don’t overdo it at first.
But I find exercising is better in small doses every day. I do 30mn of housebike or 30mn of swimming. I built up to it over the years. Plus regular activities depending on how I feel.
You will need a good meal and a good nap afterwards!! Good luck!!
When I did it I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's an hour's exercises that are suited to all and within your means you do it at your own pace and capability ..your monitered throughout and rest when you need to ...then it's cuppa tea biscuit and an hour's chat on lung conditions and breathing technique meds etc just enjoy it good luck Angie xxx
