Pulmonary Rehab assessment.

Hi soul it’s just an interview to assess your ability to be able to do the exercises and a 5-6 walk inside. The walk is in your own time nothing is rushed. If you pass you get to go to the classes. When I did mine you did the exercises as best you can if you are having a bad day you do as much as you felt you could do.
I really enjoyed doing them and at the end was less breathless. Good luck 🍀
At mine it was a blood pressure measurement along with a chat about medical history, whilst they observed your breathing, speech and posture, followed by a three min. walk test whilst wearing a pulse/oxymeter and the distance that you walked was measured. That was all mine entailed. A walk in the park, excuse the pun.
I have waited since last spring ,february i think , and i didnt know about the walk. I have been told cannot go until jan session but now have a back and hip problem and have just reluctantlystarted to use a stick. This is rapidly getting worse so by jan i won't stand a chance if a walk is involved. Breathing is worse already due to lack of exercise this year. Viscious circle.
Good luck next week
