Use your nebuliser through your mouth generally. If you have a mask type of attachment then it will go through your nose too I would imagine.

Pete just uses a mouthpiece as that’s what he prefers.

Hope you work something out. Xxxxxx

I use a mask mostly, so that my hypertonic saline reaches sinus as well as lungs, I just prefer this myself.

I dont use a nebulizer at home but the 2 times I was in hospital I found the mouthpiece better than using the mask.

I’ve just started using one with Saline (only used it twice so far) and use it with a mouth mask 😊

I would only use a mask myself if my sinuses were problematic. I don’t like using a mask as I find the mist escapes to my eyes and they are limiting. I find I can do other things easier using a mouthpiece and find it much more comfortable. Try both and see what works best for you.

To be awkward, I use mouth piece with my portable and mask with my big plug in nebuliser.......but I only use that very very rarely now.

I have raised eye pressure, and I was advised either to shut my eyes or use protective glasses when using the mask, to prevent the mist getting in my eyes .

I try and mouth breathe normally, but it doesn’t take much time to use a mouth piece .
