My preventer inhaler has been changed from Seebri Breezhaler to the above. It has greatly improved my COPD but the only drawback is that it is giving me stomach and abdominal discomfort.Has anyone else experienced this and if so,what did they do about it?

Hi picasso, you should tell your GP if the discomfort is not go away. I don't know any of those inhaler you use, I am on Tiotropium bromide ( Spiriva ) is also a capsule with powder. I have no problems with it.

I also had a change to try out new products. But I had problems with the other two and I went back to Spiriva. Problems solved. Just speak to your GP that you are not comfortable taking the Ultibro. Maybe there are some other products to try for you, that it will be helping you.

I had terrible chest pain and headache, and went back to my old inhaler, no problems afterwards. Hope you can sort it out to for be the right inhaler for you. 🌹🌹🌹

Thanks for the reply.I am hoping it may not be the inhaler because it helps my breathing a lot,I also suffer from IBS so maybe that has flared up and is causing me the discomfort. If it continues,I will go back to my old inhaler and see what happens. The discomfort feels like trapped wind, the main symptom I get with IBS.

Oh my, that to. It can be the reason. Have you tried eating and then use the inhaler or without food. I need to eat before I take it, If not I get stomach cramps. Yes definitely try out the best way for you. Take care of yourself!! Keep warm 🌹🤗

Thanks for the reply. I never take any medication on an empty stomach. I have a plate of porridge then take my inhaler and the rest of my medication.
