Note - assuming you have been diagnosed with COPD (other lung conditions have been ruled out):
'What it means: FEV1 of <30 percent indicates very severe '.
< = less than.
Thank you for that I was still smoking when that diagnoses was made stopped smoking since then attending pulmonary rehab and daily exercise just wondering if that will improve those numbers duff
Exercise will improve the take up of what oxygen you have available to you, irrespective of the Fev1 measure... but which often improves too.
If you are one of the lucky ones that gets his numbers after tests then this may help?
When I ask my GP/Hospital you would think youre asking for their pin number! I just wait untill It is logged in the notes and look them up online. I always get my consultant letter cc'd to me. But it is so hard to get anything out of my GP practice nurses?
