Talking to this little lad
About something he had lost.
He was looking in a heap of stuff
Into which the thing was tossed.
I said, "You'll never find it
Because it is so small.
Like looking for a needle in a haystack.
You've got no chance at all".
The young lad looked askew at me
And then began to dig,
Muttering "I am going to find it,
Cos an eagle is quite big!"
An eagle is very big Don so must have been found by now.

Made me think of the lady who lost a ring 40 years ago in the garden and it was never found until she dug up some carrots and there it was round a carrot! Keep digging.
