Had a good dollop of the wet stuff over night and yes its moving away and the sky is clearing so maybe just maybe we will have some sun today. It was great to hear from Suzy and that her first wack of chemo is done, she is a positive lady and will handle it well, its not much fun but as long as you stay in charge its bearable and more so if you stay on this forum as well.
Talking about being positive reminds me of this old farmer who was working in the hay loft and on leaving realized he had lost his watch, it was not over expensive but had a lot of sentimental values, he went up the loft but was not able to find it. He heard a group of children playing outside and said to them about the watch and which ever one found it would get a reward. The children all clambered up and there was laughter and shouting but after a while they came down without the watch and went off to play, except one lad who asked if he could have another look, the old farmer thought for a minute then said alright just for a little while. Off up went the lad and after a short time came down with the watch, the farmer was so pleased and asked the boy how did he find it when the other could not, the boy said " I just sat in the silence and listened for the ticking then searched there.
So the moral is ... A peaceful mind can think better than a worked up one, so allow a few minutes of silence each day and see how it helps you sort out how you want to set up your life.
Have a great Sunday because tomorrows Monday and Monday is washing day is every body happy, you bet your life you are. xxxx
