Have you contacted your health professional about your jelly legs.

I have weak muscles now as a side effect of long term steroid use, so my legs can feel wobbly. I can't walk far , so I can't build up muscle, but I do try and exercise at home. The BLF have an exercise CD which is good.

Please go back to your GP , they can investigate the reasons for your weakness.

Could this be as a result of any medication you’re on? I agree with knitter, contact your GP and have it looked into. Take care xxxx

Please let us know how you get on when you see your doctor, if you’re ok about that. Apart from the fact I hope it’s a helpful visit for your sake, I’d be interested to know what explanation is given. Lately I’ve had jelly arms but heavy legs, I’ve had to sit down to do things like brushing my teeth, this is not usual for me.

Hi there i certainly will soon as I get home. Its a bit of a worry isnt it but we shall keep on keeping on. When i move my arms to much my oxygen levels drop now i wonder if it could be the same with the old legs as well. Hope you are well will get back to you soon as I get home

I have had jelly legs for ages, makes me off balance and have have had several falls. Doctors in my practice seem not to give an answer when I asked or suggest treatment. I am on 3 steroid inhalers so what you have said makes sense to me. I will get an appointment as soon as I can and make someone aware of inhaled steroids. I am so fed up with being indoors all the time as these falls have taken away all my confidence. Polly X
