That’s Mutley alright having a little chuckle at me. Midge is doing well thank you. Sadly my neighbours had to have their dog put down and find taking Midge for walks helps them deal with it. I can’t walk far now so that works well for us all. 😀 (except for their poor dog of course 😢)
Another great rhyme thanks Don-Rhymer. A positive attitude definitely achieves a whole lot and I do think if we try hard enough we can actually kid ourselves too. Maybe not heal ourselves by the power of thought but certainly make ourselves feel better. Keep believing your lies! (If that was taken out of context I'd sound like a crazy person!)
I’m usually a positive person, glass half full rather than half empty, but sometimes it just all gets to much because there is no end to it. My happy place is our caravan. We’ve just come back from a week in the Lakes followed by two weeks in the Clent Hills only ten miles from home. My husband has finally got it that this is my happy place and so we’re going back in ten days!
For years I've recognised that there are some places that for some inexplicable reason I feel more comfortable being there. Nothing to do with memories, scenery or anything else, I just enjoy being there. I could never have though of a name to describe them, but 'Happy places' does it, that's exactly what they are. Thank you.
Lovely. I have been called Muttley since I was about 8 and Doc says she can't believe I am still alive. It is these little battles we have, or that is the way I think of it, a battle going on in my body, and do everything I can to win it.
