There's a saying about marbles,
And how many you have lost.
I wonder what you start with,
And what each job might cost.
I think as you get older,
The prices might increase.
Some jobs you found quite easy
You're now grateful when they cease.
The young are quick to sort things out
Where your thinking is quite slow.
But still you battle on with it,
Scattering marbles as you go.
Which brings me back to counting,
And what I need to know.
How many do we start with
Cos I think I'm running low.
