How many people KNEW pneumonia can dose cause arthritis.

Nor did I BUT that is what am undergoing further test for given my gp visit.

X-ray Of Knee & Blood test.

Clearly the quicker the better I get answers to joint pain that moves from joint to joints.

Don’t let it be said Arthritis and lung disease is not conected becouse it is.

Hi jeffaaxsmith,I have had Arthritis for years, and had pneumonia twice this year, hopefully I don't get septic, it's worried me now.

in reply toSusan1200

Hi it worried me espcilly as stoped my antibiotcs.

Thats other thing doctors fail to tell us when we have infection and joint pain.

Would have us belive we are neurotic WHEN infact we have real world symptoms.

Interesting My joints were in a right state when I was in ICU. But the funny thing is when I get a gout flair up it always gets on my chest. My last blood tests at Sheffield showed speckled signs which is common with Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis? My family all seem to have had some sort of auto immune issues?

in reply toOffcut

Hi offcuts nice to see ya nocking about ;)

Is all very confusing trying to unpick stuff thats so involed in diease patholgy.

Well for street internet erchin like me lol

But think this bacteria mycoplasma stuff keeps crouping up in my investagations

Lot of labs mainly ones GPs use will not check for complex bacteria.

Surprised me that give people with auto immunty issues well even harmless bacteria can cause issues.

Surely, the kind of arthritis tgat you're describing is a reactive or septic arthritis which would present with very red joints as well as the pain, swelling and inflammation? I have auto-immune inflammatory arthritis following septicaemia nearly 30 years ago - any infection or virus can trigger auto-immune sequelae although it is not a common outcome.
