Out of all the health care visators doctors district nurses NOT one told me about POST OP Slippers.
For those with diabetic feet dressed badly swallon feet.
And that IS a poor do given THEY must know about them as NHS podiatrist can prescribe them.
I would not mind BUT I asked them all WHAT I could put on my dad’s feet BUT that’s how intrested they are really.
As nothing not even a squek was fourth coming.
Anyway that’s why am doing post FOR anyone WHO as badly swallon feet having trouble getting foot ware can ask the podiatrist if have one to prescribe them.
Or can buy them yourself MENs or WOMENs open / closed toe from amazon or eBay
You are a great carer, JeffAjaxSmith. Next time the health visitors come round, how about a little very polite and tactful education on this topic - give them a print-out and tell them how pleased you were to find this solution, and you wonder if perhaps this brand of slipper might be helpful for other patients they visit? Also that they can be prescribed by podiatrist! ???
