Is muscle lose Down entirely down to lack of exercise but hard to do if you can’t breath....or body muscle waste partly because body is not getting enough oxygen. Thank you for any replies. Sam

Hi

There are many reasons for muscle loss, medical condition, age related and as the saying goes use or lose.

Have a look at some of the simple exercises in the following link.

Any toning of your muscles will make better use of the available oxygen.

Hi, don't know whether this is if any help but muscle needs protein. Carbs for energy. depending on areas of body you need to exercise, such as calf and thighs try step exercises and those kettle weights are good for lunges.

Just take it gradually and build up, day at a time. When we get older our protein intake should be upped a tad along with veggies, fruit etc. Carbs will put on the weight if you don't keep an eye on them.

Find out how many calories you need to consume daily to maintain a healthy weight. I do this for hubby.
