Hi

Been taking Braltus for 10 days, for the last 4 days I’ve had a Respiratory tract infection - is it likely to be the Braltus causing this or a common cold?

Thank you xxx

Some inhalers are reported to have chest infections as a side-effect. You need to read the accompanying leaflet to check yours.

Thanks for the reply.

The leaflet does say that..... but I thought colds were viral so can’t see how Baltus can cause an infection... or does it mean make you more susceptible to cold virus’?

I have been switched to Braitis with no side effects at all. I do not see how using an inhaler can possibly cause you to have an infection. More likely just a coincidence but see your GP
