Holiday

Well here we are on holiday. BOC very kindly lent me another machine, smaller than the one in home, that they would allow us to bring away with us. The problem being that we have a touring caravan. If it was a static caravan they would deliver my oxygen tanks to that, or a hotel. Or we can order them, get them delivered to home then pick them up from there. So I'm on site sat in the awning watching husband fish, connected to the machine. I can't move too much as I'm not allowed to let my SATs dip past 88, although they sometimes dip to 72, but don't tell my nurse that lol. Husbands coped really well and I saw only two melamine plates go flying past 😂. We try our best to carry on but every time my oxygen usage goes up we have to alter and change how we live. But we laugh often together and I love the funny stories on here. Enjoy your summer, it doesn't last for long .Lesleyxx

A chance to praise BOC - twice now I have had to arrange delivery of a concentrator and both times they have been precise, pleasant and effective. They are contracted to the NHS nationally and use local companies where they have no cover. But the service is stunningly good.

I've never had any complaints, they spoke to my nurse to work out what they could do. They are always pleasant.

They are, it's the first time we've got away and it's gorgeous, we've only come half an hour down the road from home just in case anything goes wrong lol x
