Worried and waiting

Hi all , my dad had a trapped lung due too a lot off fluid build up around the lung, he went for X-rays and then had lung drained, they did numerous X-rays ,ct scans, mri , and then said he had a line on the 8th rib , possible bone cancer , was discharged after 8 days as he then got air in the lung area trappeing the lung, the lung fluid then was tested and rogue cancer cells was found, we are on week 6 now and hes had bowel and liver checked , all clear as the prostrate is too , also lungs are lookin ok , no tumours found , hes in for a bronchoscope tomo just so worried , also a pleural crust was found on X-ray dads so mentally strained looks awful . No bone cancer was found either .

The lady who did the test said all looked good so taking that as good news dad sees the doc again wednesday, also his lung area is still filling with fluid , he looks well in him self tho so we are still not sure what too think x

I think he is a very lucky man. He has good results from the tests and a very supportive daughter.

Oh thankyou family is my everything he cares for my mum who has had an aneurysm, so hes always been the strong one , results are promising but doctors keep saying cancer cells come from a tumour and they was in the fluid so what do we do! X think they struggling

Oh thankyou , my sisters just rang the lady who did the test said no abnormalities found so thats that clear so wonder what next

Hi dads been home 3 weeks , hes just ill with stress, had every test now all clear but had these rogue cancer cells in fluid the bronschope team said all looked good so hoping that was all clear too x

Hi dad went for results yesterday , nothing in biopsy, nothing from bronschope results fine and X-ray shoring fluid still around pleural area , this was where they found few cells, no tumours again on ct and X-rays , still baffled, bloods clear , lungs clear as is collen and stomach and bowels , now after week 6 we have a pet scan appointment too wait for poor dad stressed stupid , the dr is saying could be mestastic cancer ?
