Copd

Hello my names Mel aged 82. I suffer from Copd i had TB when I was 17 had major lung surgery for it, lived near normal life after worked regular got married had family. O.k. Till about 10yrs ago started to have lots of chest problems hence Copd. I have never ever Smoked in my life.

Hello Mel, welcome lto BLF. It is so worrying when illness creeps up out us. I hope you are in touch with a respiratory nurse.

Smoking is far from being the only cause of lung problems. The amount of pollution in the air alone affects us. You have done very well in my opinion.

Hi Azure ,thanks for your e-mail i do see the nurses they are very helpful but my health has deteriorated a lot this last few months how i hate Winter Mel
