Walking in the fresh air if you can, even if it is wet or cold, well-wrapped up, inhaling new air in your lungs even if it is through scarfie, exhaling old air..10mn or more if you can..
Eating meat or fish or veg protein with your greens..a fruit a day.,add a yoghurt, a piece of cheese if you can..
Meeting people, talking to people even your favourite cashier at the local supermarket, or to the pub landlord/lady, engaging in social activities, not to stay alone at home..
Just thinking about today, now..when you are thinking about the next bunch of tests, results or the future you may have, anxiety sets in so concentrate on your breathing, anywhere you are, anytime..
For today a playlist: Panic and Anxiety attacks relief
Luckily I donβt suffer much from back pain and not there, but I must have tensed up from my shoulders to my waist..thought I was going to have a pneumothorax.. keeping an eye on it..
Sheβd smack him one around the nose, she is a feisty puss says Bea..she smacked me a few times and hard when she didnβt know me!! Now she sniffs my hair and head buts me to say hi in the morning..it takes all sorts π
Very true! How are things, Anne? Have you managed home yet? Hoping the decisions you made, whatever they were, have helped you feel just a bit more in control of your treatment. There's usually a chink for choices somewhere. πlots of loveπ xxx
Getting there now Penny, but still in hospital. Thanks for thinking of me hon. Blood pressures is just about normal again, and iron is back up. Hopefully putting together a care plan for going home tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I've decided to take a break from chemo, get back on track then restart. It'll kill me otherwise! I hope youre well...? x
Oh you know, tootling along here! So pleased to hear your BP and iron stabilised. Big steps forward βοΈAnne! Your plan for a break sounds good. I think youβre sometimes put on a treadmill when Drs decide chemo....itβs the regulations....they could be accused of neglecting you if do otherwise. Thank goodness youβve taken things in hand, taking the whole picture into consideration, body, mind and home. I have sometimes said to a consultant/oncologist, if this was your partner/daughter/mother, what would you advise then? Iβve had some better advice that way, but in the end itβs your decision, and the one you can accept as best. Tons of luck. Hope the plan works and youβre home tomorrow, but hopefully with a bit of help for yourself and your lovely girls. πππ Love π xx
I just keep trying to give just a little help and support, as we all do on here! Yes, do let us know how you get on....sounds like a good move in the right direction so far. Take care, Anne πΉπ¦π
Thanks, Fran, for being so kind to help us again. Your breathing link was a good helpβ¦where would I be without you?? As Anne says, an extra lift is to read what's going on on BLF each day. A real help! Hope your spa stay is taking you forward, in luxury hopefully!
Youβve brought tears to my eyes now π’π !! Thanks Fran π Stay in touch π§π»ββοΈπ· But I think Iβm having too many βbreathing daysβ or thinking days....Iβll have to get going today, ha! Penny xx
Thank you Fran, I like your changed of life style. Have a lovely day. Love your photo of Aria.π π x Majt
