ยซ To begin with, position yourself as comfortably as you can, you might want to take a moment to feel the support beneath you, and just let your body settle in.
And as you breathe in and out slowly, you can allow yourself to feel more and more settled and comfortable, inhaling as fully as you can, gently and easily and breathing out fully and comfortably.
And knowing that when you place your hand over your abdomen or your chest in a certain way, each time you listen to your breath, that you are creating a built-in cue for later on.
And start breathing in, counting 1.2.3 , and breathing out, 1.2.3, noticing how your tummy rises and subsides then continue at your own pace...on and on..
Inhaling and thinking Peace, and exhaling and thinking Calm..
Saying to yourself: I am Peace as you breathe in and breathing out I am Calm..on and on..till you feel soothed and settled..
Hi Fran, Petes had back pain for a long time and has a stimulator fitted which doesnโt work. He now has sciatic pain (herniated disc) in his left leg as well as his right.
Morning Carole, just read about Pete via Fran's Post, have commented to Fran. I do Believe this big change in our Temperature is the culprit for our Painful Joints. Please give him my love and hope when the sun is back he will be feeling better. xxxx
After yet another sleepless uncomfortable night I will try this this evening, try to relax and get comfortable. Thanks for the wise words and beautiful photo. ๐ธ๐ผ๐ต๏ธ
Buenas Dias Fran, Your garden and Beyond is so Beautiful and Yes, very Calming. I have completed all my Breathing Exercises this Morning,(have a bit of a chesty cough). The Body had Ibuprofen Gel to ease the pain of Ostio & Arthritis, after the Heat which didn't really bother me, the Drastic turn of Temperatures(to Chilly) has left my Joints so Painful, never really mentioned them Before, But we all have "Aging Elements" to contend with. I feel this is the case for Carole's Pete, Sciatica is a Pain I wouldn't wish to have ever again. The Hot weather is returning soon, It is most welcome for me, Other's though without Oxygen Help will suffer. Wishing you ,Bea & Aria a Lovely Calming Sunday Carino. Muchisimo Amor y Besos. XXXXXX
Well that's not fair, you didn't mention that part of the relaxation process was too find a nice garden with lush green grass and abundant with beautiful flowers,oh and add in the background of the sparkling blue waters of a Swiss lake with some mountains in the background.
Somewhat difficult to achieve whilst looking out on a rain soaked unkempt Manchunian garden but i will give it my best shot.
Have a happy and peaceful day my friend happy Fran.
