Who else gets them? My heart is constantly thumping really hard. My blood pressure and heart rate are both normal.
When I am lying down i can feel my heart pounding. It's nothing to do with my inhaler because I get it any time of day and even when I haven't taken any sort of inhaler for over 12 hours.
If I check my SATs, which are always above 97, the pulse intensity is always at max.
My heart was checked out in March and all was fine.
Does anyone else get this? I'm concerned it is the beginning of heart failure even though my FEV is relatively high and my exercise capacity is excellent..
Thanks

I have the exact same thing, and I'm only 27. I had an ECG which showed no significant abnormalities, but my heart certainly doesn't feel normal. I was told my heart was ok, I'm going to go back to the doctor in January to ask for an Echo because I'm not convinced that there is nothing wrong.
I get episodes of waking up early like r am shivering so badly my teeth chattering n I feel like my heart feels like its going to pop out of my chest. Than i get fever n sweats. Its been going on for 8 yrs n no one has even been a me to diagnose me. My white count doubles . one doctor said it could bee the steroids in spiriva. I doubt that cause I use it rarely. But talk to your pulmonologist. I haven't seen mine in a long time .good luckGod bless u...pinky
Hi! How did your heart improved ? I’m only 25 and always feeling my heart beating hard since months, not fast. All my exams are normal. Thanks for helping me. 👍
I get them occasionally, every few days. A consultant checked my heart and there is nothing to worry about. Sometimes my heart seems to miss a beat and them try to catch up. Sometimes at night, my pulse seems to bound, even though my blood pressure is fine - I can make this happen by having too much chocolate too late. I use slow deep breathing to ease it.
