Hi
A Spirometer or lung function test. Will give you a clear indication based on person of similar age, weight, height, gender and ethnic origin.
The normal range as a percentage is 80%/120%. FEV1. Same for FVC.
As there is so many variables a test between two individuals would be inconclusive.
Not all smokers have significant reduction in lung function.
Likewise non smokers can have a reduced lung function capacity.
Already. Had one 56% lung function . she said emphysema. Now she think s i haven't damaged air sack's. So not emphysema.. Going. For new test bext week
