Good article. Its so hard to obtain these fresh fruits in winter. I buy frozen bags of fruit and cans of fruit (in natural juices only)and eat pleanty of fresh greens. I still can do better. Frozen fruits are my go to food. I freeze blueberries and berries in summer for winter but they go quick once ot of season. Our produce ..if it comes from Mexico you've got to wash it very very well,i usually wont buy it. I try to look for Calfornia label's this time of year. Florida got hit bad with bad weather and their soil isnt rich. Right now we got good squash pumpkins and apples still coming local. Sad but people way way back in time didn't have gmo and the garbage in foods. I tend not to believe the organic labels because i don't trust. Can not wait for summer already. Terrible to say but things tasted so much better when I was a child. I made myself hungry for stone fruits now like peaches and juicy plums. Cherry and berries oh my. Just craving these fruits. Where do your fruits come from when out of season in your country. I read gmo not aloud there is that true? Our children are all geting triple chins in this country! They lack activity too. Its detramental and they will certainly not be in as in good shape as this generation ages. At least thats what im seeing around here. Plus people eat too late heavy meals. We all can take away something from articles. Good articles Fran xx

Glad you enjoyed them Lin. Yes when my daughter was living in Seattle she discovered Amazon Fresh but said it was so expensive..

I like to go to little food markets over the French border and buy things in season. Europeans are into organic food in a big way..I live in a small town but there is a good local shop with homemade bread, local vegetables and honey etc

My Lammies in the States swear by Juice Plus..maybe you should give it a try..obviously pills don’t replace food but they feel they get the basics covered and they are inflammation free.

Have a good day Lin and a good night to me

Thanks so much, Fran, for this wealth of information. Gathers so much together, and lots of new advice for me, as well as timely reminders as Winter sets in. I’ve had two flus and one virus since September, accompanied by the usual steroids, antib’s and asthma flares. I’ll make some dietary changes. At least I’m cooking again....haven’t felt like it for weeks. You provide so much information to help us all. I do appreciate your efforts 🙂😋🤔

Oh I’m sorry Penny..all those viruses impact on your health for sure..Im glad you are cooking again..it seems that our daily plate of food is more important to us than a bunch of supplements..but we do what we can as our busy lives take over..

The main thing is to enjoy what we eat I think there is enough requirements put on us..

So there are some good ideas in those links..

Take care xx

Fran
