If you have adequate vitamin D3 levels then it would have to be exercise, strange as it may sound.

Best to get your Vit D levels checked first though ?

Rosehip tea drunk regularly has been scientifically proved to reduce infections.

It's more than just the Vit C, but the combination of compounds in rosehips which include vit C. I don't like the tea, so I have a teaspoon of rosehip syrup every day.

Make your own black Elderberry syrup in the autumn. It is so good.

Otherwise, lemon water daily can help.

Having a really healthy gut environment will help your immune system. Your gut wall houses 70% of the cells that make up your immune system. So take a really good probiotic with trillions of good bacteria (really expensive for an excellent one) or do it yourself. Make kefir and drink it every morning, it's very simple to do. I was a bit daunted when I Plenty of good info online. Also as stated optimum vitamin D3 is a must. I've managed to avoid any infections for three years, I'm sure it's got a lot to do with feeding my guts lots of lovely good bacteria.

Thank you Pippa.

I really welcomed this bit of info, and seeing that I,ve had antibiotics since January I should imagine I have nothing good in my gut. As for Vit D3 I prefer Cod Liver Oil, but I will definitely get probiotics.

Thanks again Pippa

Kefir is nice, like a thick yoghurt drink.

Hi, Pippa,

I will give the Kefir a try, sounds nice. Did look the rest up on line at the rest, but think I will give a miss.
