Family gathering

Alfie has been to the dog groomers for a wash and brush up before our big family gathering - early Christmas, fortieth wedding anniversary and three birthdays. Alfie will love it!

He’s quite a lazy dog when he’s at home, sleeps nearly as long as our 12 year old cat!

He is, but then I’m biased. He’s still a bit mad - he’s only just 2, but has such a gentle personality and gets on really well with other dogs, adults, children, even postmen! We plan to get another puppy next year from the same parents. He keeps me moving and walking him at least once a year.

It’s a pleasure! I’m sure he’s going to have a fantastic weekend, mainly because my granddaughter will be there and she loves him. She says she is bringing her vet nurses uniform and equipment. He sits patiently while she takes his temperature and listen to his heart beating. Also we usually go for lots of walks - they live in the beautiful English Cotswolds. We all walk as far as we are able, I usually give up first, but y son, husband and Alfie usually walk four or five miles!
