I am being changed from sprivia onto spiolto respimat do I still need to take my fostaire 200 ? xx

Hi

sprivia and spiolto respimat are long acting inhalers. With similar properties.

Fostair is long acting with steroid.

So unless told otherwise continue with your Fostair.

I agree with that, continue with your Fostair until told otherwise, it should state the same on your prescription for Fostair.

I have just been changed from spiriva to the spiriva respirmat and still have to take my steroid inhaler morning and night if thats any help.... but your G P would have cancelled it off your repeat prescription if you didnt need to take.

Sprivia respimat is the same has the capsule sprivia just a different way of delivering it xx

I think you should check with your doctor. Fostair is an LABA and steroid. Spiriva is an LAMA. Spiolto is a combination LAMA and LABA, but no steroid. If you take the Stiolto and Fostair you are getting a double dose of an LABA. Perhaps this is what the doctor wants but it wouldn't hurt to double check.
