Three cheers for the great British weather
Pathetic though it might be.
Rain provides lots of water.
But most of it stays in the sea.
The breeze and the wind can be bitter
And though that may make us all frown,
At least we can be very certain,
It will never blow our houses down.
Brighton , Cromer and Blackpool
Can hardly compare with abroad
But you'll never be worried by earthquakes
Not one that's worth to record.
So sit on the beach in your muffler
And that big overcoat that you've got.
Then drink to the great British weather,
With a hot cup of tea or a tot.
