There appears to be long waits for some people to go on pulmonary rehabilitation. There also appears to be differences to wait times in different areas of the UK. What are the group members experiences with waiting for rehabilitation.

Waiting for pulmonary rehabilitation.
I had to wait for 4 months. I was itching to start after a month from diagnosis, having already found out about it and repeatedly asked for it at every medical appointment.
I'm in South Yorkshire, and my wait for PR was only about 6 weeks.....quite good really compared to some areas. 😊😊😊
I live in Yorkshire. No problem with waiting, just the opposite they have difficulty filling the places.I have attended two courses. The third starting in a couple of weeks.
Not sure in East Kent, so long since i did it - around two months maybe. But there a few areas in the country where PR does not exist at all.
I have to wait four weeks I start in June can't wait to go it will be my frist time
I didn't want to commit myself to so many weekly appointments, I like travelling too much, so I sent off for the BLF self-management pack shop.blf.org.uk/collections... a bargain at £9.
If you see a parked campervan bouncing up and down on it's springs, it's not what you think!
Lol....
After my doc referred me I only had to wait three weeks for my assessment, then I started PR the following week - couldn't believe my luck.😃👍🏻
I can't start until September. They seem to run about every three months here. I have to get my cardiologist's permission first. Twice it has been refused, and I am not well at the moment, just hoping for the best.
I went on the list around April and ended up on the course in August, earlier than expected as I took a cancellation place at short notice. South Cheshire had a 6 month waiting list at that time (2015).
