Hello, iv just realised my blue ventolins use by date is 2013 will it still be ok?
Old ventolins: Hello, iv just realised... - Lung Conditions C...
Old ventolins
I would say not and would not use it. I am not keen on using anything which is out of date and 4 years is a lot! Did you get your other inhaler sorted out?
I wouldn't use it,ask the doctor for a new one😊 xx
It's hideous in the uk that you have to ask the dr for ventolin. In Australia we can buy them over the counter 2at a time . We can always get a script and they are a bit cheaper.
@mardi Not sure of your point, but it's incorrect in either interpretation: We can buy Ventolin in the UK c£12 each, without prescription...
Or it's 'free' if you've already got a prepay script & it's free if you're over 60 on script.. and also free on a script if you've got a qualifying chronic disease.
And you don't have to see the doctor for a repeat prescription.
Not trying to be competitive or make a point just being factual regarding my experience when I was in the UK. I asked for one in a chemist but was told to go to the dr. Dr. Prescribed only one ventolin probably taking into consideration that I was a tourist or something.
In Australia:
About $9 for one without script. (About £6?)
$6.30 for 2 If on a pension ( age or otherwise) with a script. Not free.
I like to share information about other countries.
No not really. Get a new prescription, x
Thankyou every one, I hadn't rotated my medication for ages whilst using new meds & only realized today while out with my dogs & needed to use it but thought it wasn't as beneficial so checked the date, I'll keep on top of them from now on.
Yeah - take them back to the pharmacist Kesrachel, b*gger all use now The new ones will probably blow you away after those old ones.
