Signs of the times 4

Reading today's messages it appears that jokes are not always welcome in some quarters. Well I hope I don't offend anyone. I have had nothing but ticks and comments of approval. So I'll keep going until Mrs Mummy or the thought Police tell me to stop.

Tryfan, jokes are only deleted if they are offensive. Your joke is funny :)

It happens very rarely Mandy and you're right, we should not be here that late (early?) but we care about the site and want to keep it good for all so we do what we can.

in reply to Mandy6513

Hi Mandy, yes I've just joined the team of volunteer administrators, so you'll be seeing me on the forum now along with mrsmummy and Annienell.

Making people laugh can only be a good thing. Keep up the good work, lol....it's much appreciated. 😂😂😂 XXX

Absolutely. I know a GP who says that even bad jokes are far superior to any pain killer... So let's all do nice "jesters"

Love your jokes, but you aren't very good on spelling yet! Keep practising....( just joking)

I have not seen any of the "jokes unwelcome" letters. If you put your post in the humour section it should reach your target audience then we can giggle away:-)

These remind me of the letters I used to have on my fridge. Alex and I would make up phrases and leave them on for each other, don't know how we found the time...... but you can make some really funny ones up with a limited number of letters.

:-)

Haha keep posting!😀😂😂xxx

Hi jokes are fine and very welcome on here as we all need a good laugh sometimes. It's only if they break site rules ie racist, sexist jokes etc. that they can be in danger of being deleted. So don't worry about it and keep on posting funnies. Love this one. x

I was thinking of driving to Wallingford (on the sign) which is nearish to me, and seeing if there are lots of funny signs round town, but Googled Wallingford and found it is in the USA as well as England. huffingtonpost.com/entry/wa...

Hi Sarcoid yes they hail from USA. Perhaps you could start your own and twin with Wallingford!

Hello Tryfan: I thought when I had sent my message that I didn't say thank you for your original email. So thank you. I have sent on the website address to my two sons as I think the notices are so entertaining, and clever.
