A real grey and dank sort of day here in N Wales. What a contrast from the bright sunshine of yesterday. But hey, I woke up, what more could I want or need.

Have a good day all,

Hope you have a good day too. Nice and sunny on South Coast, but chilly. Xxxx

Yes as long as you wake up and can move a round thats all that counts have a nice day up there as it is wet and cold down here in the south

Good afternoon Tryfan......yes, it is always good to wake up.

Another piece of fun! Do you do these yourself because they are very witty ..........now where do I put the question mark, or do I ask you and make a statement in two separate sentences?

Sun having a hard time of it here today - doing it's best to break through. We are warm and snug inside. I'm a bit peeved though. I made myself a cheese toastie and as I cut it into two - the biggest piece fell into Merlin's open mouth. How fortunate for him that he was there, and saved it making a mess on the floor for me to clean up. Good job it wasn't hot.

Enjoy the rest of your afternoon.

:-)

Yes indeed Magpuss...there is a reason why they don't often leave your side when you are in the kitchen:-)

Lucky you, too - dogs are sooo good at clearing up 'everything' that's edible that I'm sure he saves you loads of work. For all their charms cats simply aren't in the same league when it comes to clearing up - far to picky, if it's not chicken or fish, or possibly a bit of ham they're not really interested. 😸🐾🐾

How true Magpuss! You really have to be sure that what is flying through the air straight into a dog's maw is edible, otherwise you are in deep doo doo.

I just love cheese on toast. Or being a Welshman, welsh rarebit especially made with Lancashire cheese (it becomes very stringy and chewy). Made with mustard powder and Worcestershire sauce (some add a little ale- I find that a waste). All mixed up and grilled, yum o yum.

The poem will have to wait until I find inspiration.

George is not much use at clearing up dropped food, unless it is meat or cheese. He does like toasted cheese sandwich, so long as it is in little bits.
