I have been asthmatic for as long as I can remember. I was very bad when I was younger but didn't have inhalers until I was 16. Recently by coincidence I have discovered I'm sensitive to coal fires. In hindsight it all fits in. Everywhere I have lived that had open fires or stoves where coal was burnt my asthma has been bad. It was confirmed when I went to Black Country museum and there were coal fires in the canal boats and some I f the old buildings. It has made a huge difference. I would be interested if anyone else has similar sensitivities.
