I’m glad you’re getting relief from co-codomol, and managed a better sleep. I think serous pain is the biggest hindrance to recovery. Onward and upward.
Only just read your previous post. So pleased you've got some help with the pain. Wish you all the very best and keep us posted. (BTW you are a VERY brave man) take care xxx
Hi MrB. I am so pleased to hear that they finally gave you some pain relief! A good night's sleep makes all the difference. Lets hope this healing and pain relief continues. Best wishes JJ_7
Thats good news, we don't like to think you're suffering when something is available to help. ........eat plenty of good fibre though 😳, figs, oranges, satsumas, prunes & plenty of veg!
Glad your friend Co-Codamol is helping you as much as it helps me.
Because it contains codeine it can bung you up, so keep eating high fibre foods like wholemeal bread, fruit and veg, porridge, oats and oat bran, brown rice, wholemeal pasta, etc. If your digestion struggles to process these, consider taking a laxative like Fybogel or Senokot (other types are available: discuss with your doctor).
So glad to hear there has been an improvement. My husband swears by Co-codamol. As well as the fruit and vegetables, Sennacot is very good too. Fingers crossed that this is the beginning of better times. ✌✌✌ xxx
That's good! 👍🤞Huge relief I would imagine. Don't want to be a downer but constipation is a side effect.. Useful to get some stuff off the Dr to be prepared.
Glad to hear you are getting relief from your pain but beware that co-codimol has a horrible side effect in that it can give you the most awful constipation, avoid taking for long periods
👍 co codamol is my go to drug if in pain. I sometimes use it when I haven’t slept well for a while. I have different strengths. I hope you are in the strongest dose which I think is 50mg. Glad things are a bit easier for you. 🤗🤗
A mate of mine aged 95 had his funeral yesterday. Denis used to play at the station twice a week, entertaining crowds with oldie tunes like Smile and Unforgettable. So I'm sharing the flowers with you cos I paid for them ha ha.
Yesterday I paid a florist to put flowers on the central piano at St. Pancras station.
When I was a boy I used to collect old pennies, going through the reigns of Queen Victoria, Edward 7th, George 5th and 6th. You are welcome to a pair. I can meet you at the central piano at St. Pancras station AND play you a tune! I rather fancy Edward 7th.🤣🤣
Really glad you have pain relief that's working. Sound advice here on high-fibre diet with co-codamol; I also recommend getting cartons of prune juice for a constant supply to help with very unwanted side-effects!
