You look young to have copd if you smoke the first thing to do is stop as it will help a lot as you have a young child it will show him that smoking is no good and maybe he will not start .i us to smoke my wife have never smoked but she us to say see you smoke so now the boys smoke so she thinks if one or two of the perants smoke the children will so like i said if you smoke stop now as you are still young .

Welcome Amanda, not everyone with COPD is or was a smoker, as you are young you may have the type that affects younger ppeople.
