Hi, I have just joined this group to try and find out more about this condition.
I am British but now live in Cyprus. I have a good chest consultant but there are no support groups to ask questions and share experiences. I look forward to meeting members with similar problems.

Thank you sassy59. I am very happy in Cyprus, I have lived here for 18 years. I have only just been diagnosed and was sad to find out there are no support groups here for COPD. I am also diabetic but we do have a monthly group that meet in a nice taverna to share information. Maybe I should look into starting a group. I wish your husband well X

A warm welcome to you Aphrodite1 and glad that you've found us and can now benefit from so many members experience's,who thinks certain meds are better than others(although you MUST always take advice from your Doctor), plus an open invitation to rant, rave, scream or cry whenever you need to! We all have good and bad days but it really does help,to know you can come here, anytime - a.m. or p.m.- and put it all down on your screen and a member from somewhere will reply. I hope to chat to you soon.

Hi Sheila! I agree, it’s a learning curve for me too and I’m still trying to take it in. Thank you for the welcome. Not a new life in Cyprus, I’ve lived here for 18 years and love it!
