Pain

For last two days have had pain in right side of chest but worst when cough find hard to do anything taken three pain killers 4 times a day to try and eas it any ideir( copd )

hi david as your coughing it now it might be muscle straining with the coughing and the pain david could b the start of a infectection, have u any rescue ABS in david does it seem more painfull when u try to get up and you cant for the pain, thats muscular pain, but david eh on the safe side eh,, get ur wife to ring 999 and they will come out an see you ok,, there equiped with ecgs david to test our hearts ok, so ring em eh be on safe side ,,

Chest pain can be caused by many different things David. TisBAme is right, best to get it checked out I think then you can relax. xx

I would see your Doctor or Respiratory nurse you might have an infection, do you have any other symptoms, high temperature, cough anything like that.

Hi David. Sorry abut your pain and it could be caused by dislodged ribs from the muscle that holds your ribs together. The muscle looks a bit like bellows and I have in the past dislodged one or more after a severe coughing bout. It usually take a few days to heal. I hold the side that hurts when I cough! And take lots of pain killers.

You definitely need to make sure that this isn't pneumonia or pleurisy. Get checked out by a Doctor
