I was asked by post to confirm my identity then the forms were sent out by post - quite slow process. You only get 4 weeks from the date they issue them to complete the forms (so roughly 3 weeks by the time they have arrived in the snail mail!!!) the forms are really long and complex but there's lots of really good advice on the Internet at benefitsandwork.co.uk/perso... or try the CAB website. Good luck with your application, I'm waiting for my assessment meeting at mo.

You can find a sample form online whilst waiting for the official form to come through

Yes as Mgharris01 says there are organisations who can help you complete the forms. Your local disability bureau may be able to assist you with this too. Good luck with it all and hope you have a positive outcome - let me know how you get on. x

Make sure you get help from an benefits advisor with filling in the PIP form as it can be a nightmare. I approached the Papworth Trust to help with mine as I am in the East of England, but there are many other organisations that can, and will, help if you ask.
