I have had bronchiectasis for 63 years. Cannabis oil has been discussed on this site several times and there are some with COPD who seem to find it useful. Wehave different symptoms and problems though. As the element of cannabis that is valued is really a pain killer, I cannot see the use. Quite frankly, if all of the special foods, supplements, lamps, air cleaners, snake oil etc etc worked, our lungs would be miraculously healed.
I'm afraid that it is physio to keep the lungs clear, no smoking, exercise and taking the antibiotics and inhalors when needed which keep us going. If you feel that you are struggling go to your consultant and tell them. Good luck.
Well said Stillstanding!👍 I agree with you wholeheartedly!
Go back to your GP falconcottage1 & discuss your condition if it's getting worse. Maybe you need a review & new meds. The best of luck to you 🌷
Hi If you type Canabis Oil in the search box on the top right you will see all the other posts referring to it. x
If you are in the uk there is great difficulty getting it. However in the usa there is s growing band of users indicating positive results. Good luck for the future. Roll on the day when cannabis is legal for medical purposes as it is in many of the states in america.
Hi falconcottage1, i have been taking cannabis oil since December 2015 with excellent results. I regularly cycle 7-10kms, walk the beach for 45 minutes, 100 sit ups plus light weight exercises. 1 year ago i could not walk to my car without being SOB. CO is NOT just for pain, it opens your airways allowing you to lead a normal life. I take it as a suppository so there is no high, no side effects. Thousands of people are feeling the benefit, not just in the USA and there are a couple of people on here who have also joined me. Maybe they will also reply.

I live in the uk where cannabis is still illegal, but I would try it,I have emphysema and it's getting worse.Good luck to anyone who can access this drug
Eve1956, it is very illegal where i live but my health is more important to me than a draconian law. 24 states in America have now decriminalized cannabis, plus Canada and Australia to a certain extent.
A couple of people on here from the UK have followed me in taking CO. I hope they are getting as much success as i am.
I'm 59 and have had emphysema since I was 42,I've been lucky and the disease didn't affect me too much until the last couple of years.I was a smoker but stopped, and afraid I've always felt"well it was my fault" but I'd do and try anything to breathe better,my lung capacity is down a lot now, although I'm still not on oxygen.Just would try anything to help
