Hi rusty, I don't see why not as long as the smell doesn't affect you. Some people are bothered by certain smells & in others there's no effect. 🌺

Well, I am stage 1V and still do mine.  I use Nice'n'Easy and don't have any problems so far.

Take care

Have you tried Henna? I think it's plant based, I'm thinking of trying it after seeing my daughter's results with it! 😁

Hi rusty4ever!  Funny you  should ask about the hair dyes, as I'm going tomorrow to an "all natural store" with my daughter to look at some without chemicals.  We all hear about these additives being so bad, but I have actually pin-pointed one that is in everything and know without a doubt it is what has been causing my asthma.

I've always been allergic to sulfur, like what is used on dried fruits.  But now it's comes in many forms and is used in things like hair dyes, make-up, lip balm as a preservative.

Restaurants spritz a form onto foods to keep them fresh.  Of course it's in most wines as sulfites.  I now make my own wine and my hubby makes beer.

Anyway, the hair dye probably won't effect you, as it's only a small % of people with this particular allergy, but I just wanted to remind you to always use strong chemicals with plenty of ventilation.

all the best to you and take care!

Gail

ps...yes, I'm still hiding my grey hair, once I started I couldn't give it up!  Ha.  I always said  when I turned 60 I'd quit, but 60 is not that old now that I'm there!!!

What it does for your morale far outweighs any adverse effects - done it for a very long time now and due for it on Monday - and I'm on abs for an infection but a funeral to attend on Thursday, and if I went looking like this wouldn't think it worth coming home!!!!

It is parabens that are often the cause of allergies. I am allergic to all hair dye so it has to be done carefully with foils.

You must always do a patch test when you buy a new packet. I became allergic after having my hair dyed for years.
