Our nice Doctor is back from wherever it was he went so I've made an appointment to see him tomorrow...
He'll presumably have had a letter from the Consultant by now, re my out-patients visit to her.
I haven't used any of the Lyric tabs...the grumpy Doc upped my dosage of Seroxat to 40mg and that seems to have really taken care of the anxiety, without needing to take those as well.
The kittens are booked in with the Vets on Thursday for their respective tube tying and testicles off...hope the word 'testicles' is not going to cause any offence...it's in Dictionaries.
They'll have to fast of course... poor Murphy will be horror struck to miss his breakfast.
Himself had to go for routine blood tests this morning...it cost him €20 which grieved him somewhat and the nurse scolded him for not having come in sooner...he has high blood pressure and a wonky thyroid you see. Ought to go yearly, but it's been three years since the last time...
The car insurance is due anyday, so November looks as though it's going to become a tighten your belts sort of month...the Vets bill will be a shock I expect.
Hungry kittens are liable to be weaving themselves around your ankles vashti, better be extra careful on Thursday morning. I saw the doc yesterday, well - not the usual doc but a registrar he looked at my spirometry results from August and said that he wouldn't have said that I've got copd. I decided I liked him there and then, not saying I believed him but he made me feel better instantly, even if I was still puffing a bit on my way home.
If the Seroxat is helping then it seems alright to keep on it. Withdrawing from it does take quite a while.
Regarding Himself, thankfully a lot can be done to bring down blood pressure. My husband has had it for many years, but it is kept down to a safe level by medication.
He goes for yearly checks now. You can buy your own blood pressure monitors very cheaply now.
I hope all goes well with the kitties. I suspect they will sulk a bit for a while, but as soon as they can eat they will soon perk up.
