For Starveycat!
I agree! What a contented look on her face! π
How adorable, far from feral now. What a joy to see such a contented puss.
Beautiful markings, certainly looks comfy xx Sonia xx
looks like youv'e come a long way.
Not much of the 'feral' left in that contented pussy cat...!
She still has her moments if she doesn't get her own way sometimes Vashti, but I just point at her and say her name sternly and she calms straight down.
She still runs away with all her food if she can and keeps looking around to see if the others are after her - just a left-over from having originally to fend for herself, I guess?
Beautiful kitty Nikkers. How long have you had her? Did you have trouble taming her? She certainly looks content.
π.xx
I've had her since August 2003 Ruby, she was about a year old then. She was a real handful when I first got her and if I tried to cuddle her she would fly for my face with all claws ready to strike and I really considered taking her to the local rescue home. However, I'd only had her a few weeks when she produced 3 kittens on 26th October and was a brilliant "Mum" to them. After that, I had her spayed and she changed completely. I'll never really know if it was having the kittens, being spayed or just being content at last, that changed her? But I suspect it was a combination of all 3. XX
Thank-you so much for the picture she is absolutely unbelievably gorgeous, you must be one remarkable lady to have tamed her β₯β₯β₯β₯
Nott really, I nearly gave up at one point, but I think the kittens and having her spayed calmed her down a lot. Good luck with yours, she may realise where she's better off once the really cold weather kicks in. Don't fuss over her if she comes indoors, just carry on as though she weren't there and she'll realise that you have other interests and are not trying to "trap" her. Get a cat flap if you can - much better that having to leave the door open. Let us know how you get on. XX
Yes you are remarkable to have tamed a feral cat, simply gorgeous and looks so cuddly!πππ
Well, she does love to sit on everyone's lap - and moult all over them, but my Grandson is still the only one that can pick her up and lay her in his arms like a baby. She always swears and spits at him at first, but he takes no notice and she then lays there looking adoringly up at him........great soppy thing! Lol.
We had a short hair silver tabby once, your lovely cat looks as if she could be one or, at least, partly. If you have a visitor she doesn't like does she make her feelings known? Anyway, she is beautiful. Kaye.
Thanks Kaye. I got her from Portugal and the vet told me she's an Egyptian Mau - which was a bit ironic given what my profession was. She's too friendly really and expects everyone to let her sit on them. XX
I would imagen "feral" is long gone!
Congrats on the good job you must have done xx
Thank you Wendells. XX
Really does look so comfy (bet she's so thrilled she found you!!) xx
