Oh they are lovely. Thank you so much Carole. You would never believe my dad worked as a gardener all his life would you? xx

Ahh, yes, that's the celandine. They remind me of buttercups except they're a lot taller aren't they and don't have so many petals. Lovely pic Carole. :-)

I presume you mean the buttercup is taller and has less petals because celandine are really close to the ground

I bought one of these last year Carole. It's lovely and yellow is my favourite colour. How are you doing now? Are you getting out and about yet? xx

Hi Casper thanks for your enquiry. I am walking fine without a stick, my arm brings me up short sometimes when I turn it wrong and I have two dead fingers where the nerves are trapped, but apart from fluid in my legs where they left me in bed for a month with no stockings d'oh! I am fine. That is being dealt with by the District Nurses. Where I was immobile for a month my breathing has gone down but the Respiratory nurse is going to get me on a Pulmonary Rehab course. Looking forward to a holiday in Hastings in April......something to aim for. Keep smiling

Oh, I didn't know it was a weed. I bought a bush with flowers on exactly the same as this.

You may have bought hypericum - that pic of the celandines looks very like them.
