Just like that two lung transplants in the same programme, someone comes in needing new lungs and bang there they are. If only.

Hi Kimmy
That Holby Hospital is a fantastic place to be treated...I wish my GP would refer me there.
The only thing I worry about is the way they all knock the booze back in the pub at the end of their shift !!

And there we were thinking that the Brompton was the place to go. All aboard for Holby
I like Doctors better at lunchtime on BBC, oh to be treated by Drs and Nurses who go to the local Bistro twice a day, drink large amounts of wine plus a yard of ale, then home for tea" more wine then social party until 2am, then ready for work bright and chipper at 7am.
Oh I wish I had the stamina!!!!
But I keep watching it as I like to comment on the silly things they do, and ask my Husband ( Who Writes These")
Absolutely. Have often thought that a referral to Elliot Hope at Holby would sort out my problems. Certainly better than many of the consultants I have seen. Incidentally, lovely story about Martin Clunes. He took his real wife to hospital with abdominal pains. The A&E doctors came up with a diagnosis. He disagreed with them, they listened in awed silence, as if he were Doc Martin. Did more tests, and he was right. The actors at Holby could well pick real understanding of medical matters. It is all well researched and they consult real doctors and hospitals to get their story lines and plots. So Holby, here we come...
Morning and love to you all.

I think the worst medical nightmare would be to have Doc Martin as your GP All cranky consultants pale into insignificance compared with him.
Sometimes think I do have Doc Martin as my GP. He can do grumpy to Olympic standard but without Doc Martin's diagnostic skills. when I go in Isay: "Dimples or Doc Martin today?"

If only.....I didn't understand Denise Welch's character's illness 'Most of the lungs are covered in cysts so you need a lung transplant.' What condition would that be? How convenient that there was another fatality from the RTC so hey ho here's another set of lungs.
