That's about it really....thought I would ask a random question
Does anyone watch Holby City? - Lung Conditions C...
Does anyone watch Holby City?
I do ,
You would think I would have enough of hospital but do love this show.
I have just watched Holby City tonight and I also watch Casualty. I find that when I go to the hospital and ask any of the staff if they watch any hospital programmes they say that they do not.
Actually I prefer the 'real' hospital programmes.

There was a time when I wouldn't have missed an episode of both Casualty and Holby City, but - a while back - I thought they both had become a bit boring and now I don't watch either of them In fact, all things considered, I don't watch much tv these days at all. I would much rather be on my pc
I prefer documentaries on medical matters, but I will watch Casualty. Didn't care for Frankie which was on tonight.
I watch casualty but not Holby I used to watch Holby when it first came out but it lost its way for a while so stopped watching I like 24 hours in A@E too, and Junior Doctors also emergency bikers. best wishes Julie x x
Twenty years ago when I shared a flat in London my flatmate was a nurse and she really didn't like Casualty. I watched it at the time though.
I suppose you wouldn't like it if you did it for a job every day
I think that was what it was, she wanted to get away from it all at home. She worked on an NHS surgical ward and found it so stressful she retrained to be a Macmillan nurse and changed to working in a hospice.
Yeah them wards can get very busy, so can understand her change of career path
Me too.
I watch holby and casualty and the real life stuff, have to watch that when hubby not around as he gets a bit squeamish (and him an ex solder who has seen active service) me I just find the real stuff fascinating suppose that stems from when I was a nurse.
Hi, yeah I watch them all. I even remember watching 'emergency ward 10'! Susie x
Like Casualty, but watch the others too and recall emergency ward ten but don't like to admit it as it reflects my age!!!! Even Charlie Fairhead as been around a while as his grey hair shows, but the shows are still good entertainment and popular with many viewers
watch both but when I was in hospital a nurse told me she doesn't put those programmes on at home for it gives her husband the idea doctors and nurses are all at it like rabbits in cupboards all day.
