the dan in my name is one of my cats so I don't think he would mind :)

Wendells, my friend, think you are saying make the most of the rest of your life. Sadly, my travelling days are over but to be replaced by other things. Not sure what but I'll find something, especially with the spring coming.

Quite right. We've just been to the allotment and an afternoon gardening at home coming up. It's a beautiful day!

Opened all our windows today, sat outside telling the gardener (OH) what to do and what not to do. I find pleasure in simple things now, just walking around the garden recognising plants that are showing. Got plenty of real Vit D.

I have been in the garden today going at it like a slave. However I think my mistress(she who must be obeyed). was pleased.

Beautiful day today, we've been to the beach and a kids party.

My dad;s funeral is tomorrow and although no one had any idea that there was anything wrong with him the last phone conv we had I said to him (just after i was told what i have) 'you have to make the most of everyday' to which he replied 'you don't have to tell me that'.

One of my fav quotes at the moment (it's about butterflies) is 'although life maybe short it doesn't mean it's tragic'
