Morning ,,,,I to have been struggling to get to sleep ,,,,,mainly because I either start watching tv in bed or I'm playing daft games on my iPad ,haha,
Then i remembered an old wife's take ,,," an hour before midnight is better than 2 hours after " so for the last few nights ,,,,11 pm ,,,has been my cut off time ,,,,and so far so good ,,,,,and I feel much better and more refreshed when I wake ,,,,,worth a try ,,,,,,,
You could always have a nap in the afternoon if you need to,
Best I get to sleep before midnight then! Quite often snuggle down at 10pm or shortly after but still awake at 12 or later. Takes me ages to get to sleep.
I thunk they say you should not eat within the 2 and a half hours before going to bed as that can cause indigestion. I have also been told that you should not eat within 4 hours of lying down too. I don't like eating later than 6 in the evening and don't reallly like eating too much at night. If I could have my way I would eat at midday and have a snack in the evenings as this suits me better but my other half doesn't like eating that way.
Good morning, I am barely awake and seriously impressed that you are feeling so creative at this hour 😄
No need to be impressed. I was lying. Maybe hoped that by committing it in writing it might actually happen? Or just the age-old dichotomy of Larks v Owls. 9 or 10pm sees a very different me: struggling to breathe, chest pain, battling the reality that it is going to be like this every evening of my life, and not one solitary creative thought in my head. Only the knowledge that by four or five am I am physically a tad better and psychologically buoyant gets me through.
What a busy lady you are! You must be feeling quite well. Thats a good thing 😊
It's 3:30 a.m here, and still dark. Looks like we're having a clear day of 85 degrees. What are you painting? Your really structured. Wish I was. I'm a big procrastinater! Great intentions and get nothing accomplished!
LOL let us know if your positive get up and go post works and you might find we all wake at the crack of dawn tomorrow and try posting our to-do lists 😃 Xris x
Well I've finally given in to the thought of a new lounge carpet ,,,,it's been the thought of moving everything out of the room that's been putting me off,,,,,but now my lovely son in law is off work for 3 months , due to staring a new job in the Same industry,
( so can't start for new employer for 3 months ) and gets bored if he hasn't got a project ,,,, so he is going to do the jobs we have wanted doing ,,,,put them off ,,,( it's an age ,and just can't be bothered thing ) ,,,,but oh the decisions I have to make ,,,,hubby as always says,,,,,,,," it's up to you " ,
,,( ,,another one with oooo can't be bothered thing ,,,,,) haha,,,,so now it's gone from choosing a new carpet ,,,,to ,,why not have ,,,new light fittings in the lounge ,dinning room ,kitchen ,,,,,,,new ,,,,curtains ,,,blind and rug in dinning room and kitchen ,,,,,new bathroom blind, ,painting the decking ,,, grouting the slabs on patio , painting the front door ( I will be out that day ) and painting the apex on the front ,,,,,,
I'm exhausted just thinking about it all ,,,,,and can I find matching curtains and blind for kitchen in plum or green warpath a nice delicate pattern ,,,,can I bug,,,,,,y ,so I'm exhausted with just the shopping on line ,,,,,,is it worth all the hassle I ask myself ,,,,
I hasten to add ,,,,there will be no painting done ,,,,,,,,as it makes me soooooo poorly ,and I always end up in hospital ,,,,so that's a no from me ,
Well I've gone on a bit haven't i ,,,,time to go to Pulmary rehab now ,,,,,then a cup of tea and ,,,,,,then I'll take another look on line for matching curtains and blinds ,,,,have a good day everyone ,,,
