The Inside of my shed
Ahhhh the ideal getaway, love the blue chair. A home from home.
I do like it...a great deal!
Nice Vashti. What did you use for the outside colour? & did you have the door sawn in half?
It's lovely Vashti, I was going to say tranquil, but it's not is it, it's very busy lol.....maybe I should say I expect you have many tranquil hours there
If I could stop Himself from coming to see if I'm alright every ten minutes...lol
Ah you have got space for me to move in after all - your shed... xx
Just across from my shed is Teresa and Reubens shed...theirs has a proper bed and cabinets and table lamps...lol
Love it - I have a sewing room for my patchwork and quilting - feel we need to escape away from the maddening crowd!
Marion
You do patchwork as well Marion? I'm self-taught from watching YouTube videos...☺
I absolutely love it .I am into craft, and love spending time on various projects but always have to pack all my gear away when it comes to mealtimes. Our shed in full to the roof with my husbands garden tools and spiders !! We have the space in our garden, sooooo, I think my husband may be busy this weekend !!!
Crafty Velvet xx
That's exactly what I was doing...would have something spread out on the table and then have to move it all 'cos it was a meal time...used to drive me crackers...lol
Woah that is so much more than a "shed" xxx
Bet you were thinking of spiders and garden forks...lol
Want one!! What more can I say 😊😉 Jan xx
That's what I did...pointed and said Want!
Vashti, I have " shed envy ". A super place to work right in your garden and the sideboard is wonderful. Like Velvet, I have to clear everthing I do away at mealtimes and for visitors and, apart from that ,my table always looks like the wrath of God. Computer, notebooks, paperbacks and everything I need to hand.
What kind of things do you make? I try most things, done that and then on to the next thing. Do tell us what you craft. Crochet and knitting you tell us about but what else? Polly x
Bit like you actually...I see an idea and have a go...sometimes I'll stick with it sometimes not...I like making cards and love patchwork...not terribly good at patchwork but getting better...lol
I self taught myself patchwork from a young age and my passion is American civil war quilts and have made a few reproduction ones. Also am lucky to have a large collection of old quilts both from USA and here. Whatever is going on in the mad life I lead I know I can pick up a needle, sew, knit or crochet and create and for a while forget and try and put things in perspective.

When I could get out and about I used to browse craft fairs and fetes, bazaars and exhibitions. I saw interesting things and decided that I could do those at home. The great thing is that I am never stuck for an appropriate card or little gift. I can see visitors go home with a pot of homemade something, a couple of lavender wands or a quilted sunglasses pouch. `Now with the new season I can share a handful of fresh garden produce or summer fruit.
There are so many projects that there seems not enought lifetime to cram them all in. Keeps me occupied, fulfils the create bits in me and, of course, that sense of still being useful.
i wonder if, like me, people bring you bits of ribbon, scraps of lovely fabric and empty jars. All grist for the mill. Now all I need is a terrific shed like yours. I have just been heavily into Fimo buttons and doll house food.
